Mastershot Studio

A free Clideo alternative with no watermark

Clideo's help center says free exports carry a small Clideo watermark, files can be up to 500 MB, and exports are 480p or 720p. Clideo edits your video on its servers, so it's uploaded first. Mastershot Studio is a browser editor with no paid plan: no watermark, exports up to 4K, and videos open straight from your computer instead of being uploaded, so a 2 GB file is ready right away. It runs on a computer, not a phone, and has no templates or stock library.

What Studio doesn't have

  • A phone app. Studio needs a computer; on a phone, Mastershot's single-job tools (trim, crop, compress) still work.
  • Using it without an account. Clideo lets visitors edit without signing in; Studio asks you to sign in with Google or an email address so your projects are saved.
  • Templates and a stock library. You bring your own clips, pictures, and sound.
  • Opening Clideo projects. Export the video from Clideo and add that file to a Studio project.
