- Each frame shows for its delay divided by the speed. Transparency and the loop setting are kept, and the frames are re-encoded once.
- Limits
- Speeds go from 0.1× to 10×. Browsers show a frame for at least 1/50 of a second, so a GIF that is already fast drops some frames when sped up further.
