How to turn audio into a video

Open an MP3, M4A, WAV, or FLAC, add a picture or pick a background color, and save an MP4 that plays the sound over it. Add a visualizer if you like: bars, a ring around your cover, a podcast-style wave, or a line that moves with the sound. Choose the picture's own shape, landscape for YouTube, square, or portrait for Reels and TikTok. The audio to video converter runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

What to expect

Supported inputs
Audio files such as MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, and OGG, or a video whose sound you want. Pictures can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
What happens
The video lasts as long as the sound. The picture holds still, unless you add a visualizer: then bars, a ring, a wave, or a line move with the sound, 30 times a second, and the picture can pulse on the beat. AAC audio, as in M4A files, is copied without re-encoding; other audio is encoded as AAC, or MP3 where the browser has no AAC encoder.
Limits
One sound and one picture per video. A visualizer makes a bigger file and takes longer to save than a still picture. Use Add audio to video to put a sound under moving footage.
