How to add text to a video
Open a video and type your words. Pick one of 17 fonts, a size, and a color, add an outline or a box behind them if you like, and drag the text where you want it on the video. To show it for only part of the video, drag the ends of the strip under the player. The text is drawn into every frame on your device, so the video is never uploaded.

What to expect
- Supported inputs
- Any video this browser can decode.
- What happens
- The text is drawn into the picture of each frame it shows on, and the video is saved in its own format at about its own quality. The sound is kept.
- Limits
- This tool adds one block of text, which can run over several lines. For several texts, titles that come and go, or text that moves, use the free video editor. The text becomes part of the picture and can't be edited in the saved file.
