What to expect
- Supported inputs
- Any media file this browser’s engine can read.
- What happens
- The picture is mirrored and re-encoded in the source format, at no more than the source’s bitrate. The sound is copied untouched. Flipping both ways is the same as turning the video upside down, so MP4 and MOV do that without re-encoding.
- Limits
- A video track is required. A mirror is drawn into every frame, because many players ignore a mirror stored only in the file’s metadata.
Private by design
Your video stays on your device
Mastershot processes your file locally in this browser. It does not need to be uploaded to a server, and you do not need an account to use the tool.
