What to expect

Supported inputs
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, MPEG-TS (.ts, .mts), and 3GP videos. AVI, WMV, and FLV files can’t be opened yet.
What happens
The selected range is saved in the source format using the main video and audio tracks. An MPEG-TS recording is saved as MP4, which video editors open. Extra audio tracks, including spatial audio, are not included.
Limits
Start and end must fall inside the duration, with the end after the start. Frame-accurate cuts depend on the source.

Compatible tracks are copied when possible. Some files still need encoding so the cut can be kept exact.

Yes. A shorter clip is often the easiest way to meet a size limit.

Yes. Split the video at the playhead, then click the label on any part you don’t want to delete it. What’s left is joined in order into one video, or choose Separate files to save each part on its own.

Press Split wherever a part should end, save as Separate files, and download the parts in a ZIP. Split video starts you with the video cut in half.
