MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, and other audio, or a video with sound. You can also drag in a whole folder.

How to convert audio files online

Drop in a song, a voice memo, or a whole folder of recordings, choose MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, Ogg, AAC, or M4R, and download the new files. M4A, WAV, FLAC, Ogg, Opus, WEBA, AIFF, and AAC files all open, and so do videos, whose sound is saved. Everything is converted in your browser, so your files are never uploaded.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your audio
Pick one file or many, or drop them or a folder into the converter above.
  2. Step 2

    Choose a format
MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, Ogg, AAC, or an M4R ringtone.
  3. Step 3

    Download
Save each new file, or all of them at once.

What to expect

Supported inputs
MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, Ogg, Opus, WEBA, AAC, and AIFF files, and the sound from any video this browser reads.
What happens
The sound is saved in the format you choose. A file already in a format the new one holds, such as AAC going into M4A, is copied as it is; anything else is re-encoded. MP3 is selected first.
Limits
Converting a compressed file to WAV or FLAC makes it bigger but doesn't bring back detail the compression removed. Firefox has no AAC encoder, so its M4A and M4R files hold MP3; Chrome, Edge, and Safari write AAC.
