How to convert HEIC to PNG

Add your iPhone's HEIC photos and each one is saved as a PNG, which keeps every pixel and opens in any editor. They're converted in your browser, so your photos are never uploaded.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your HEIC photos
Pick one or many, or drop a folder of iPhone photos above.
  2. Step 2

    Keep PNG
PNG is selected; choose JPG for smaller files.
  3. Step 3

    Download the PNGs
Save each one, or all of them in a ZIP.

What to expect

Supported inputs
HEIC and HEIF photos from an iPhone or iPad, and any other picture. HEIC opens in Chrome, Edge, and Safari on most computers, but not in Firefox.
What happens
Each photo is saved as a PNG at its full size, the right way up. The PNG has no Exif data, so the photo's location and camera details are left out.
Limits
A PNG of a photo is large, often over 10 MB; choose JPG if you only need to share it. Firefox can't read HEIC; use Chrome, Edge, or Safari.
