How to convert M4A to MP4 online

Open an M4A, such as a voice memo, iTunes song, or GarageBand export, add a picture or background color, and save an MP4. The AAC sound inside an M4A is copied into the MP4 without re-encoding, so it keeps its quality, and the file is never uploaded.

What to expect

Supported inputs
M4A files, and any other audio or video with sound this browser can read. Pictures can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
What happens
The sound plays over a still picture for its full length. AAC audio is copied without re-encoding; other audio is encoded as AAC, or MP3 where the browser has no AAC encoder.
Limits
One sound file at a time. The picture stays the same for the whole video; use Add audio to video to put a song under moving footage.
