What to expect
- Supported inputs
- MPEG program streams (.mpg, .mpeg, .vob, .m2p) with MP2, MP3, Dolby Digital, or DTS sound, and other readable video or audio files.
- What happens
- The picture is left out and the first sound track is saved as MP3. MP2 sound, the usual kind in .mpg files, is encoded as MP3, so every player can open it. MP3 sound is copied as it is.
- Limits
- Only the sound is saved: Mastershot can’t convert MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 video yet. DVD sound in LPCM can’t be read yet either.
