Flip image

Mirror a picture left to right or upside down, many at once. Free, with no upload.

Files stay on your device

Drop images to flip

Add one or as many as you like. Each is edited on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, SVG, BMP, and GIF. As many as you like, or a whole folder.

Flip
Every picture you add is saved with these settings.
Turn

Clockwise above zero. The corners it leaves are filled in, or see-through in a PNG.

Mirror

Horizontal swaps left and right, as a mirror does. Vertical turns it upside down.

Shape

The whole picture is kept.

Every color becomes the gray of how bright it looks.

A JPG, PNG, or WebP stays what it is. Other pictures become JPG, or PNG when they're see-through.

How to flip or mirror an image online

Add a picture and choose Horizontal to mirror it left to right, Vertical to turn it upside down, or both. The mirror image is saved right away for download. Everything happens in your browser, so your picture is never uploaded.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your pictures
Add one picture, several, or a folder.
  2. Step 2

    Mirror it
Horizontal for left to right, Vertical for upside down.
  3. Step 3

    Download
Save each mirrored picture, or all of them in a ZIP.

What to expect

Supported inputs
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, BMP, GIF, and SVG, one or many at once. HEIC opens in Chrome, Edge, and Safari on most computers, but not in Firefox.
What happens
Every pixel moves to its mirrored place and none is changed. A JPG, PNG, or WebP stays in its format unless you choose another. Horizontal is what a mirror shows, so text reads backwards; a selfie flipped this way looks the way other people see you.
Limits
Only the first frame of a moving GIF is flipped. Very large pictures can be more than a phone's browser can hold; a computer handles them.

Questions

Flipping mirrors the picture, so left becomes right. Rotating turns it, so the top moves to a side. Flipping both ways is the same as a half turn.

Phones show a selfie mirrored while you take it and save it the way others see you. Flipping it horizontally gives you back the mirror view, with any text reversed.

No. They're mirrored in your browser, on your device, so nobody else sees them.
