How to remove a green screen from a video
Open a video shot on a green screen and Mastershot keys out the green on your device. - What happens
- Pixels close to the screen's color become transparent, with a soft edge between. Green light reflected onto the subject is pulled back toward its own color. With a new background the video is saved as an MP4 with its sound; transparent output is a WebM, PNG frames, or a GIF.
- Limits
- Wrinkles and shadows on the screen take a little more removal. A subject wearing the screen's color disappears with it. For a video with no green screen, use Remove video background.
