How to convert LRF to MP4

DJI drones and Osmo Action and Pocket cameras save an .LRF file next to every video: a low-resolution copy for previewing in the DJI app. It's already an MP4 inside, so it's copied into an .mp4 without re-encoding, which is quick and keeps every frame. The conversion runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your LRF
Pick the .LRF file from the camera's card, or drop it above.
  2. Step 2

    Keep MP4
MP4 is selected; the preview is copied without re-encoding.
  3. Step 3

    Download the MP4
Save the MP4 when the conversion finishes.

What to expect

Supported inputs
DJI .LRF files, and other readable video files.
What happens
The LRF's video and sound are copied into an MP4 unchanged when MP4 can hold them, and re-encoded when it can't.
Limits
The MP4 has the LRF's own low resolution. The full-quality clip is the .MP4 with the same name, from the camera's card.

Questions

Usually, yes: an LRF is an MP4 under another name. Converting it here does the same and checks that the result plays.

It's DJI's preview copy, made small for the app. The full-resolution video is the .MP4 file with the same name.

Yes, once you've copied the clips you want. They're only previews; the real video is in the matching .MP4.
