How to make a sound wave video
Open a song, voice memo, or podcast clip and save an MP4 of its sound wave moving over a color or a picture. Choose a line that traces the wave itself, or mirrored bars as podcast clips use. This audio waveform visualizer runs in your browser, so there's no watermark and nothing is uploaded.

What to expect
- Supported inputs
- Audio files such as MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, and OGG, or a video whose sound you want. Pictures can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
- What happens
- The wave is drawn from your sound 30 times a second, in step with it. The line shows the wave as it is, with a short trail; the bars show how loud each pitch is.
- Limits
- It makes a video, not a still image of the waveform. One sound and one picture per video.
