How to convert WebP to PNG

Add WebP images, such as pictures saved from a website, and each one is saved as a PNG. PNG keeps transparency and every pixel, and it opens in any editor. The WebP to PNG converter runs in your browser, so your images stay on your device.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your WebPs
Pick one or many, or drop them into the converter above.
  2. Step 2

    Keep PNG
PNG is selected; choose another format if you need one.
  3. Step 3

    Download the PNG
Save each PNG, or all of them in a ZIP.

What to expect

Supported inputs
WebP images, still or animated, and any other picture: JPG, HEIC, AVIF, SVG, BMP, or GIF.
What happens
Each WebP is saved as a PNG at its full size, with transparency kept. PNG is lossless, so the PNG shows exactly what the WebP did.
Limits
A PNG of a photo is often several times larger than the WebP; choose JPG if size matters. An animated WebP converts its first frame.
