JFIF to GIF

Turn JFIF pictures into a GIF for free: one still, or many as an animated slideshow. Nothing is uploaded.

Drop JPEGs to make a GIF

Add one or as many as you like; they play in the order you set. Everything happens on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, SVG, BMP, and GIF. As many as you like, or a whole folder.

GIF settings
The GIF takes the first picture's shape. Each frame gets its own colors, so photos stay true.
Each picture shows for

Short times suit frames of an animation; a second or more suits photos. You can also set a time on any picture. A GIF or animated PNG keeps its own timing.

Width

Pictures are never made larger than they are, and a smaller GIF loads faster.

Pictures of another shape

Space around a picture of another shape stays transparent.

How to convert JFIF to GIF

Add one or more .jfif pictures, set how long each shows and how often the GIF plays, and save an animated GIF. A single JFIF becomes a still GIF. It runs in your browser, so the pictures stay on your device.

  1. Step 1

    Add your JFIF files
One or many, in the order they play.
  2. Step 2

    Set the timing
Seconds per picture, and how many times it plays.
  3. Step 3

    Download the GIF
A still or an animated GIF.

What to expect

Supported inputs
JFIF, JPEG, and JPG files, and any other picture: PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, or SVG.
What happens
Each picture is one frame, shown for the seconds you set, and each frame gets its own 256 colors.
Limits
GIF holds 256 colors per frame, so photos show some dithering.
