Keyboard shortcuts
Every key Studio's editor answers to.
These work in the editor, as long as you aren't typing in a box. Press ? in Studio to see them there. On a Mac, use ⌘ where it says Ctrl.
Playing
- Play or pause
- SpaceorK
- Back or forward one frame
- ←or→
- Back or forward one second
- Shift←orShift→
- Go to the start or the end
- HomeorEnd
Editing
- Split what's selected at the playhead
- S
- Copy what's selected
- CtrlC
- Cut what's selected
- CtrlX
- Paste at the playhead
- CtrlV
- Duplicate what's selected
- CtrlD
- Delete what's selected
- Delete
- Delete it and close the gap it leaves
- ShiftDelete
- Undo

Selecting
- Add to the selection or take out
- ShiftClick
- Select everything
- CtrlA
- Clear the selection, or stop cropping or framing
- Esc
On the timeline and preview
- Drag across an empty part of the timeline to select several things.
- Double-click text on the preview to type in it.
- Shift + Delete on several things at once deletes them all and closes their gaps.
